Join Pacific Whale Foundation and Maui Nui Seabird Recovery Project as we focus on habitat restoration around 'ua'u kani (wedge-tailed shearwater) burrows at Hāwea. ʻUaʻu kani are pelagic birds, adults return to their nests every season arounf Mid-March-Late April to lay one egg. Carpooling available at Māʻalaea harbor, others will meet us at the Cliff House free parking then we will drive in together.
