Malama Maui Nui (MMN) in partnership with Marriott Serve 360 consortium of hotels, has taken on an extensive clean up of the Ukumehame, which has been a garbage dumping ground for a number of years. Over 150 vehicles have been removed from the area by MMN along with an aray of appliances, household goods and random trash.
MMN has establish an ongoing effort to clean this environmentally sensitive, historical and culturally significant area of West Maui.
