Deliver meals and hope to our homebound clients.
Serving the Homebound
Serving the Homebound Hale Kau Kau’s volunteer drivers are a lifeline for our homebound residents in South Maui. Every afternoon, they deliver approximately 100–115 meals, bringing not only food but also a friendly face, a safety check, and a reminder that our kūpuna and neighbors in need are not forgotten. Each meal includes a hot entrée, starch, salad, vegetable, fruit, dessert, and bread, and is designed to provide about 1,500 calories to support general nutritional needs. Meal pick‑up is at Hale Kau Kau at St. Theresa Church at 4:00 p.m., with deliveries throughout the South Maui area—our drivers turn these meals into moments of connection, dignity, and hope.
