You can help to build homes without swinging a hammer by volunteering at the ReStore!
Habitat Maui's ReStore is a home improvement store and donation warehouse selling new and gently used building building materials and household items. Proceeds help sustain our ability to bring more safe and affordable housing to our community.
If you have retail experience or are willing to learn, join the ReStore volunteer team!
What to Expect
Volunteers will assist associates with various responsibilities which include:
- Receiving, cleaning, and sorting donations
- Restocking salesfloor
- Cleaning and organizing displays and shelves
- Staging - i.e. moving furniture and displays
- Keeping salesfloor and donation warehouse clean and organized
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers and donors, helping customers find items, etc.
- ...and other various tasks
When can I volunteer?
Volunteer hours are Monday - Saturday from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Although we offer flexible hours, we do ask that volunteers serve a minimum of 2 hours, if possible.
