We need help on Saturday, November 7 at the Arbor Day Drive-Through 1,000 Native Tree Giveaway, happening from 9 am to 4 pm at the War Memorial Gym parking lot! Tree runners are needed to work in distanced groups of 10 to bring trees to people's parked cars. Residents will have previously reserved their tree online and a card on their windshield will tell you which tree they reserved. Residents will not leave their cars; you will place the tree in their trunk and remove the card from their windshield. This event has been approved by Maui County and traffic will be monitored by Maui Police. For complete site plan and COVID protocols, contact tamara@mnbg.org.
Snacks, drinks, hand sanitizer, masks, tents for shade, and high-vis vests will be provided. Wear comfortable closed toed shoes and prepare for being outdoors in full sun for up to 4.5 hours.
