Waihe’e Ridge Trail

Saturday, March 14th 2026


Tasks: weeding, planting native Hawaiian plants, watering, and collecting new seeds to propagate.   


Date: Saturday, March 14th, 2026

Time: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Place: Meet at the main parking lot below the Waiheʻe Ridge Trail head, right outside of Camp Maluhia.

What to bring: Long-sleeve shirt, long pants, closed-toe shoes with good tread, at least 2 liters of water, snacks, sun protection, and a backpack. MKWP will provide gloves and tools.

What to expect: We will hike a little over a mile up the trail to the restoration site. We will be back at the trailhead at 12:00 pm.



*Please make sure your packs, clothing, shoes and gear are cleaned of all mud, dirt, seeds, etc.* (This is to ensure that we don’t bring invasive/ non-native species with us)
