Join Mālama Hāmākua Maui in partnership with Maui Invasive Species Committee for a hands-on evening focused on coqui control in the Hāmākualoa area.
This volunteer night offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from MISC staff about coqui behavior, monitoring, and control methods, while actively supporting ongoing conservation efforts. Volunteers will assist with on-the-ground work and gain insight into why these efforts matter for native ecosystems and surrounding communities.
No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, help, and be part of a collective effort to care for this place. All guidance and equipment will be provided.
Come ready to listen, observe, and contribute in a meaningful way as we work together to mālama ʻāina.
