We’re having a big planting at Honolua on Arbor Day and we're looking for many hands to help us plant.
We'll be planting 1200 Koa trees and 1200 ‘A‘ali‘i shrubs to restore an area above Honolua Bay, Maui! Bring your family for a day of community and be a part of bringing back a forest.
Location: Honolua Bay, park alongside of road, look for the signs (6860 RT-30)
The planting site is a 0.7 mile walk uphill on a dirt road. Please carpool.
What to bring: Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, hat, and bring a water bottle. There will be water filling stations.
It's going to be a great day!
