Maui Nui Visitor Aloha Society of Hawai'i

Who We Are

Maui Nui Visitor Aloha Society of Hawai'i (Maui Nui VASH) is a community-based program dedicated to assisting visitors throughout Maui, Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi when unexpected emergencies, illnesses, injuries, or other crises disrupt their stay. Our mission is both responsive and preventive: we provide compassionate, practical support during times of crisis while also educating visitors about local safety risks and helping prevent avoidable emergencies. Our vision is a safer, more caring visitor experience in which people feel supported, informed, and empowered to make responsible decisions. Established by Anchor & Ally Assistance LLC in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority, Maui Nui VASH works with public agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and volunteers. Through initiatives such as the Aloha Kai Safety Ambassadors program, trained volunteers help educate beachgoers about ocean conditions, hazards, and safer choices before they enter the water.
