Who We Are
Roots Reborn is a multicultural immigrant justice and disaster response organization dedicated to supporting migrant and immigrant communities affected by the Maui wildfires.
What We Do
We help fill out applications, forms and other documents that drastically improve our communities’ basic needs. Currently, we are helping our folks apply for the Hawai’i Interim Housing Project (HIHP). Hawai’i Health Access Program through Kaiser Permanente is one way Roots Reborn helps our community attain free healthcare. Previously, we’ve enrolled over 130 individuals and have been asked to assist with application renewals for the upcoming year. We currently provide these services for Pohnpeian, Chuuk and Spanish-speaking folks.
