Malama Hamakua is a 501(c) three nonprofit in Haiku, HI in the Peahi area. We are working with our action team and community volunteers to do land waste and trash removal, restoration of cultural sites as well as replanting native plants. Our future goals are to have community gardens and other cultural gardens where people can gather as well as a place to hold cultural events and classes.
What We Do
We hold community workdays the last Saturday of every month and also have work days we plug-in other days of the month as well. We are doing land, cleanup, and restoring native plants back into the ground.
