Who We Are
Our mission is to recover Ocean Plastic for the advancement of a Circular Economy by efficiently extracting it from inconvenient coastal areas and intercepting Ghost Nets before further damage is done. Our vision is to monitor and clean every ocean front mile from the Hawaiian Islands, inspiring action towards the mitigation and recovery of Ocean Plastic from coastal areas around the entire world.
What We Do
Love the Sea supports a local & global network of ocean stewards, working towards the eradication of plastic pollution and marine debris in the world’s oceans, achieved through effective direct action, innovative educational outreach and strategic policy making campaigns. Volunteer activities include youth ambassador programs, beach clean ups, ghost net extractions, and youth leadership. We hope to motivate young adults to want to make a difference within the environment by allowing them to take charge of projects that support our mission.
