Kalakupua/Giggle Hill Playground Workday

Join us Saturday, June 1st, from 3-5 PM at the park for our monthly volunteer and community maintenance day. Come for some fun and to help maintain Haiku's epic playground! Bring what you have...shovels and rakes to fluff up the sandbox and level the rubber chips; a weedwacker to tame the grassy patch; and painting supplies if you have extra. We've got some fixing up to do as well so if you're handy bring pliers, hand saws, and cordless screw drivers. Gloves, hats, water and snacks encouraged. Bring the whole family! We will have paint brushes and brooms to share. 
New this month will be an open book swap for all! Bring a book to swap and keep your reading list fresh and exciting!
