Aloha, Project Hawai’i, Inc. is a volunteer staffed nonprofit run by public donations. We provide year round outreach to the homeless unsheltered children and provide interactive solutions to help them succeed and escape their cycle of poverty.
We are seeking volunteers who love to talk and create awareness about what is happening with our agency. Volunteers will greet guests, answer questions and engage the guests in conversation about the importance of our program and how the guests can make a difference with their support. (we are not asking for donations, but the opportunity will be available via the Shane Victorino Foundation), During this event we will be sharing our summer educational programs as well as the upcoming Christmas Events for our homeless children here on Maui.
This is a perfect opportunity for volunteers who love to be outgoing and engage in conversations. What a fun way to meet new people and help the homeless children while utilizing your outgoing personality.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet and greet local celebrities, former MLB and NFL guests, along with Shane Victorino. Volunteers will be able to enjoy a fancy meal at the celebrity charity dinner.
Other requirements:
- must be 21 or older
- must have formal/cocktail attire
- must be extremely outgoing and professional
- must be able to attend the orientation and then the evening event for the cocktail party/dinner
- Absolutely no soliciting of your own business/company/etc.
- Due to COVID Restrictions... Interviews can be done via phone, or a submission of a short video/selfie/social media etc. Please email your interest and we can work with what is best for you.
- Volunteers will need to familiarize themselves with our agency. Be able to understand what we do to answer questions. Our website is a great resource to learn about what we do and who we are.
- More details and duties will be assigned once the volunteers are chosen for the event. We are limited to 4 volunteers.
