Project volunteers will work together to rake the existing wood chips to the side pathways, remove/save/relocate existing plants, add compost/calcium, till, and test/check the existing irrigation system. There will also be opportunities to plant the seeds in start trays and hand paint a sign to mark the plot as a Goodwill Garden plot. Hali’imaile Community Garden will be preparing a 3rd space for planting where we will grow eggplants for the Goodwill Garden. Project volunteers will work together to rake the existing wood chips to the side pathways, remove/save/relocate existing plants, add compost/calcium, till, and test/check the existing irrigation system. There will also be opportunities to plant the seeds in start trays and hand paint a sign to mark the plot as a Goodwill Garden plot.
