HandsOn Maui streamlines the volunteering and volunteer recruitment process! Agencies control the information in their profiles and post needs, so information and volunteer opportunities can be quickly shared with potential volunteers. How to Find Volunteer Opportunities in Maui 

  1. Browse profiles of local nonprofits to find organizations and causes you're passionate about supporting 

  2. Search for your perfect volunteer opportunity in Maui County, and filter it by your interests, skills and availability 

  3. "Become a fan" of your favorite nonprofits to receive email notifications when they have new volunteer opportunities

How to: 

  1. Create a user profile: Follow these step-by-step instructions to register as a HandsOn Maui volunteer and make the most of your profile!  

  2. Find an opportunity: Search current volunteer needs posted with HandsOn Maui. Tip: use various filters to make it easy to find the right opportunity for you!
     
  3. Report a problem: If you have any issues with GetConnected, trouble finding the right opportunity, or problems getting in touch with one of our organizations, please contact Wendy Stebbins, Volunteer Center Coordinator.

How to Use HandsOn Maui to Recruit and Retain Volunteers

  1. Reach a diverse group of potential volunteers by taking advantage of the County of Maui Volunteer Center's partnerships and outreach to local universities, schools, businesses, and community groups

  1. When your organization is ready to join, visit the Agency Signup Page to request a profile!

  2. After your organization has a GetConnected profile, you can add new opportunities and events at any time!
