Volunteer in the Garden at Kihei Elementary School

Garden care days are always a lot of fun and a great way to see learn about gardening from other volunteers and community members. We have tasks for all skills and abilities. Typical projects include  building garden beds, weeding, spreading mulch, small construction projects like building benches for students to use during class, making and painting signs, and adding soil amendments.  This is a family-friendly event, and kids are welcome with a parent or caregiver's supervision. Tools and supplies will be provided. Please bring water, wear sun protection and sturdy shoes.
