The Kumu Mea Kanu project is designed to reconnect and strengthen students’ relationships with their land, food, and community via hybrid garden learning. We assemble and distribute garden learning kits to students and pair them with an online curriculum and related video lessons. These kits included an age-appropriate garden journal, colored pencils, magnifying lenses, pots, soil, and seeds.
On Sunday, October 12th, we are going to assemble over 2,000 Kumu Mea Kanu Grow Kits for K-5 students across Maui - come join the fun!
