Creating a Village Youth Summer Program
Maui County 4-H has a great summer volunteer opportunity for adults 20 and up! Kōkua Maui's middle school students as they gain confidence in skills they need to transition into adulthood. Creating a Village provides practice with life skills including building relationships, leadership, problem-solving, and more. This fun and free program will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursday from June 6th-29th at the UH Maui College. Currently in its fourth year, Creating a Village is supported by adult leaders, teen mentors, and community content experts.

La'akea Village Country Store Volunteer
Help your community and meet others this summer! La'akea Village welcomes friendly smiling volunteers to help in their country store. Kōkua by opening the doors, putting our produce, and interacting with guests. They're open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am-2pm and need immediate volunteers. If you like being outside and getting your hands dirty, this volunteer opportunity is for you! Common Ground Collective help provide solutions that strengthen Maui's food security by preventing food waste and increasing access to locally grown food. Join the team in their community garden on Thursdays and help harvest, weed, and plant food for residents in need. You could even help wash fruits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Deliver Meals to Homebound Clients
Help to provide peace of mind to those who can't leave their homes by delivering hot meals bc this summer. Hale Kaukau unconditionally serves 80-150 men and women on site as well as delivers to 70-80 around Kihei. They are in need of drivers to deliver once a month on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and twice a month on Saturdays. Planting Native Hawaiian Dryland Forest
Get outside and into nature with Keālia Pond National Wildlife Rescue and do your part in wildlife conservation. Help them restore areas to Hawaiian dryland forest ecosystems, one of the most rare systems in the world. They invite volunteers to join them every Thursday from 9am to 12pm and ask to come prepared in closed-toed shoes, pants, and with water.
