Who We Are
Our highly specialized hospice care services allow terminally ill persons on Maui to spend their final weeks and days in their home or in the setting of their choice, in comfort and dignity with care that relieves pain and symptoms. We care for both the patient and for the family, both during the illness and after the death. We provide nurses, physicians, social workers, spiritual counselors, volunteers, as well as free medicines, supplies and equipment. We serve those communities in the home setting, in assisted living facilities, in nursing homes, in the hospital, and now in our own hospice hale. We serve people in all areas of the island. We also serve the community in general through familiarizing them with the difficult-to-communicate value of our program of care through lectures and presentations, printed materials, radio shows, our web pages, and a presence at major community gatherings. Check out website for upcoming events we will be hosting are attending.
Our work is providing physical comfort and emotional and spiritual support for people who are terminally ill, and supporting and assisting their families, before death and while they are grieving.
Our purpose is to enrich our community by helping people discover the gifts that preparing for the death of a loved one can bring: Compassion, Insight, Courage, Humility, Inspiration, Confidence and Growth.
