The vision of the Kula Community Association is to preserve open space, support agriculture, maintain a rural residential atmosphere, and to work together as a community. The specific purpose of this association is to improve the quality of life for the residents of Kula, to promote civic welfare, and generally to benefit the community of Kula. We have been in existence for over 30 years.
What We Do
We conduct quarterly Kula community meetings that give community members the opportunity to learn from and ask questions of Maui subject matters experts on issues impacting them and their neighbors. We provide a line of communication to local government representatives that gives community members a voice in issues directly affecting them and their families. We deliver timely social media announcements about important local events, meetings, and news that directly impact the quality of life in the Kula community. We deliver a monthly newsletter with engaging stories, news, and relevant updates on the work that we, the Kula Community Association Board and Committees, do for the community. We maintain a website that gives community members easy one-stop access to our quarterly meetings, news, volunteer opportunities and more so they can share their concerns on issues impacting our community and offer solutions.
