Who We Are
We are 501c3 educational group that was founded almost 25 years ago as the Hawaii Ecotourism Association. We have promoted and influenced important changes in the tourism industry over the past two decades and we continue today to work to make our tourism industry better for everyone involved.
What We Do
We educate and inform businesses across the state in how they can be more sustainable in their operations, how to reduce their environmental impact, increase community involvement, and respect to Hawaiian people. Our internationally recognized sustainable tourism certification for tour operators has over 40 certified companies.
